"Draining" makes salads dramatically tastier--Compact 3coins "Salad Spinner" is recommended for the first one

A salad that is often thought of as just washing and serving vegetables. Of course, that's basically the case, but did you know that "draining" on the way is actually very important? By thoroughly removing the water from the vegetables, the dressing and seasonings are often entwined, and the wateriness of the vegetables disappears when you eat them, so you can fully enjoy the taste of the ingredients.

"Salad spinner" is a kitchen item that can efficiently drain vegetables. While kitchen brand products are large and expensive, I found one with a reasonable size at the 300 yen shop "3coins", so I tried using it.


The diameter is about 18 cm and the height is about 12 cm. There are pink and green color variations, and the stock is always stable because it is a standard and popular item at the store.

There is a colander inside, which is enough to hold one pack of baby leaf and about 1/4 of lettuce. When the lid is closed tightly and the knob is held and turned, the colander inside rotates vigorously. It's a little responsive, but once you get used to it, you can easily turn it.





I was able to drain the delicate baby leaf without damaging it with just a few turns. Personally, one of the pleasures is to see the water that has accumulated at the bottom.





The size of the salad spinner that fits in the refrigerator and the fact that the handle can be disassembled and washed. It's an item you won't find at 100%, so if you're looking for something at a reasonable price, don't miss it.
