Nitori HD] Expansion of Rehiring System for Senior Work

ers Nitori Holdings announced the expansion of its rehiring system, which allows those who wish to work until age 70, and a review of compensation levels in order to further support the working lives of senior workers. The new system will take effect in July.

Expansion of Rehiring Period

The rehiring period, which was previously set until age 65, will be extended to age 70 if the criteria set by Nitori Holdings are met. This will provide opportunities for senior human resources to work longer.

Review of compensation levels

We will review base salaries and allowances for rehired employees, aiming to maintain the same base salaries and allowances as before retirement for positions above a certain level. The compensation level will be revised to maintain 90% of the pre-retirement level at maximum.

Importance of Senior Human Resources

Nitori Holdings believes that the wealth of experience and knowledge of its senior human resources is essential to achieving its long-term vision, including business expansion, global development, and business infrastructure reform. The revision of the system is a measure that takes into account the importance of senior human resources.

Investment in Diverse Human Resources

Through this investment in human resources, we aim to further enhance the environment in which diverse human resources can take on challenges and play active roles, and to improve employee motivation and the productivity of the entire organization. We will continue to actively promote the creation of an environment in which each and every employee can play an active role.
