The Dyson 360 Eye robot vacuum cleaner was announced by Dyson. It is a product that makes up for the shortcomings of conventional robot vacuums.

The main feature of the Dyson 360 Eye is a 360-degree panoramic camera mounted on the top of the unit. This allows the robot to see 360 degrees around it to assess the situation and triangulate its position precisely. The room is divided into a grid of 3 meter squares and cleaned in a regular pattern.

Unlike conventional vacuum cleaners, the vacuum cleaner moves in a "spiral" rather than a random pattern. This means that the machine does not have to go back and forth to the same spot several times after cleaning has been completed, allowing for a shorter cleaning time.

The main unit is moved not by wheels but by caterpillars. The machine's ability to traverse obstacles is high, reducing the number of times the battery runs out because it cannot get over a bump, which is a common problem with robot vacuums.
