"KIN" is a wallet that automatically separates bills and coins. Produced by KIN Studio in Singapore.
When you shop and get change, you often receive both bills and coins. When you put this in your wallet, you tend to drop coins. There are long lines at the cash register, and it is often difficult to get in as well as when you are in a hurry.
"KIN" is a wallet that helps such a clumsy person. If you put all the received change in the wallet, the bills will be left as they are and the coins will be moved to the coin purse. This will reduce the worry of spreading coins and bills, and you can move smartly without having to wait for the change at the cash register.
The appearance of automatically sorting bills and coins looks like a magic trick when viewed in the video, so if you have one, you may be able to use it for the entertainment of the year-end party.
In addition to bills and coins, a card holder that can store up to 9 coins is also included.
KIN Studio is currently conducting a campaign to recruit investors on the crowdfunding site kickstarter for the commercialization of "KIN". At the time of writing this article, one "KIN" is available with an investment of S $ 40 (about 3,000 yen). Unfortunately, the shipment is scheduled for June 2017 and will not be in time for this year's year-end party.
There were three color variations, "Burnt Sienna," "Green," and "Ultra Marine," but "Meteor Light Gray" was added because the procurement amount exceeded the target. "Kepler Black" may be added depending on the future procurement situation.
The reason why "KIN" can separate bills and coins is not disclosed until shipping. KIN Studio says that this is to prevent products that imitate the mechanism from being released by the time of shipment and the "KIN" will not sell if it is released at this time.
