The end of October should be the long-awaited Halloween ... but is this Christmas already? It's so cold, isn't it? The supermarket had an oden corner right away, so what about "Halloween oden" this year?

Here are four types of ingredients that will give you a perfect Halloween mood just by adding them to your usual oden. We will also introduce commercially available goods so that it is easy for clumsy and busy people to make.


■ Pumpkin with carrots

Slice the thick part of the carrot, heat it in the microwave or boil it lightly, and remove it with a pumpkin mold for cookies.


■ Halloween Hanpen

Simply place the cut glue in the shape of a jack-o-lantern or ghost on a hanpen cut to a size that is easy to eat. This time, I used the Halloween version of "Noriart" (300 yen including tax) sold at KALDI Coffee Farm.



■ Chikuwa Mummy

Cut the chikuwa into a spiral with cooking scissors and wrap it around the sausage to make it look like a mummy. Eyes are made from cheese, black sesame, glue, etc.




■ Lollipop Chikuwa

With the quail egg boiled in water as the core, cut it into the same spiral shape as before and roll the chikuwa. At the end, stop with a bamboo skewer to make it look like a candy.


Put the other ingredients on the fire with the dashi stock, and finally put the Halloween oden on it and it's done! Unfortunately, the face etc. will come off on the way, but there is no doubt that it will warmly liven up the Halloween dinner and party. Please try it ♪
