What kind of product?
"Thick panque plate" developed by Peace Fraise. A small frying pan for gas fires that can bake hot cakes with a diameter of about 13 cm. There is no lid, so it is recommended to prepare a lid of the corresponding size separately. The author also bought a 14cm-compatible lid developed by Peace Fraise.
The inner surface of the plate is treated with fluororesin, but cooking is started after applying a thin layer of oil. Pour the panque dough until about 5 minutes and bake on very low heat for about 4 minutes. Turn it over and bake for another 4 minutes. Put a bamboo skewer in the center, and if the muddy dough doesn't come, it's a signal of completion. A small and thick panque is ready! You can simply enjoy it with butter and honey. You can enjoy a gorgeous look even in a mini size by topping with fruits and whipped cream, or by stacking 2 or 3 pieces on top of each other.
What are the precautions?
Since the way the fire passes is different from that of a frying pan of about 20 to 24 cm, it is necessary to get used to adjusting the heating power and baking time. The hot cake I baked had a rather dark finish, probably because the heat was not weakened enough. Also, since it is a size that can not be inserted into a spatula, it is better to use chopsticks or a spoon when turning it over. It takes a little trial and error, but I am impressed when it burns well.
