Mana, a household goods maker, has released a "soak-and-wash cap" that can be easily put on and washed in the kitchen sink. It has been on sale since October at specialty stores, mass retailers, and the official Marna online shop. The price (excluding tax) is 880 yen.
The "soak-and-wash cap" is a water-stop cap that is ready to store water just by placing it on the drain of the kitchen sink. You will be able to easily soak and wash the oil-stained trivets and the dishes and towels you want to bleach.
Made of heat-resistant and chemical-resistant silicone rubber, it can be used for drains with a diameter of 15 cm or less. After soaking, you can drain water little by little without getting your hands dirty by inserting a stick longer than the water level into the edge of the cap. Another feature is that the solution does not easily scatter when draining.
Heat resistant temperature is 100 degrees. The approximate size is about 170mm x 184mm x 6mm. As a kitchen cleaning product, Mana is also developing a new product called "Kitchen Squeegee" that can wipe water from the cooking table and scraps of foodstuffs, and scrape off dirt around the microwave oven and the cooking table.
