Wakayama sake brewer Nakano BC released the aroma oil series "FRAGRANT KISHU waka" using "citrus" from Wakayama prefecture on April 16th.


This product is an aroma oil made from 100% natural essential oil extracted from the peel of citrus fruits produced in Wakayama prefecture. The steam distillation method that the company has cultivated in making shochu is adopted as the manufacturing method, and it seems that you can enjoy the soft, gentle and transparent scent.

In addition, it does not contain phototoxic components like the usual citrus aroma made by the squeezing method, so it is recommended for aroma therapists to use it as a skin treatment.

For the skin of the fruit, the pomace of the fruit juice maker in Wakayama is reused. It is said that mass production has been achieved by increasing the extraction rate by 17 times compared to the case where the essential oil is extracted from the frozen peel as it is, by using a unique manufacturing method in which the frozen peel is crushed in two stages.
