The commercial facility "NEWoMan" opened in Shinjuku, Tokyo last month. In mid-April, the Ekinaka area will appear inside the station, and the author who uses Shinjuku station for transfers is also fighting "delicious temptation" every day.

Among them, the one I was interested in was "Butter Butler".

The shop is a sweets shop where "butter plays a leading role" made from butter carefully selected from production areas around the world. The signature menu "Butter Financier" uses fermented butter from Switzerland and salt from Guérande from France.
It's packed individually in a fashionable box, so it's more suitable for souvenirs. Just take it out of the bag and you will have a wonderful scent of butter and maple.

The surface is crispy and lightly chewy. The dough soaked with maple syrup is moist and melts in your mouth, just like returning to butter in your mouth.

The butter flavor is rich, but the sweetness is modest. It's not too heavy, so one will disappear in a blink of an eye. However, the price is not so crisp (864 yen including tax for 4 pieces), so let's enjoy the sweet aftertaste that remains after eating. It is a gem that you can fully enjoy the deliciousness of the ingredients only for simple baked goods.
The store also sells menus such as "Butter Hawaiian Cake" and "Butter Caramel Pot". If you plan to visit somewhere during Golden Week, it may be a good souvenir.

The store is located on the 2nd floor of NEWoMan SHINJUKU in JR Shinjuku Station, 5-24-55 Sendagaya, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. Business hours are from 8:00 to 22:00.
