Tokyo disaster prevention "how to make tableware"
Such a material can be used instead of tableware

Practical edition of "Tokyo Disaster Prevention" serialized from August 30 ( Part 1 , Part 2 ). Today, which is also Disaster Prevention Day, we will deliver a pattern of tableware making using newspapers and milk cartons. If you have "Tokyo disaster prevention", please refer to pages 208-209.

First, make a "bowl" using newspaper and a plastic bag. Fold the newspaper into a bowl shape and cover it with a plastic bag. It doesn't look like a kitchen waste container, but it has a large capacity that seems to hold plenty of anything. Be careful when adding soup, as it lacks stability.

If you cover it with a plastic bag, it will be completed. It looks like a garbage container ...?

Next is making a spoon using a milk carton (500ml (16.91us fl oz)). If you cut off the four corners, it will look like a lotus. You can make four from one milk carton, so the whole family can use it.

After cutting the milk carton into four parts (left), cut off the edges diagonally (right).

By the way, the above two are examples of success, but there were also such "failures". When I tried the idea of cutting a 2L PET bottle in half vertically and using it as a plate (published on page 208), I gave up because the bottom of the PET bottle was too hard to cut. Large scissors and cutters with good sharpness may be essential for survival life.

It turns out that it is difficult to cut the "bottom" of a PET bottle

How was the "Practice" of "Tokyo Disaster Prevention" delivered three times? Let's cherish the awareness that each person is a party to disaster prevention, such as the catch phrase "Let's do it now. Everything that protects us from disasters."
