Easy and safe tofu diced! Hundred yen store "tofu sardine cut plate"


A dice-shaped cut of tofu that is often required when cooking, such as mapo tofu and miso soup. It doesn't make a big mistake, but it often crumbles, doesn't have a uniform shape, and doesn't look good.

How to use

Discard the water in the pack and take out the tofu


Open the plate and place it on the pack




Place the tofu on top and push it in from directly above so that it returns to the pack. This will cut the tofu into plates




Take it out, insert the plate on the side, and slide it sideways.





A uniform tofu-like eye cut is completed! It may take some time while reading how to use it the first time, but I think that the work will be completed in a dozen seconds after the second time.

The only thing I'm curious about is that the plate cut from the side is a little small. When I used 350g (12.35oz) of tofu this time, only one row at the end became a brick shape instead of a dice. I think it's probably the perfect product for 300g (10.58oz).

If it is a large tofu, the rectangular parallelepiped will be mixed.

The size of the pack tofu that can be used comfortably is limited, but it is a nice idea product. It doesn't have a blade, so I'm happy that even children can use it with confidence. How about incorporating it to households where tofu often appears on the table?
