Jam tends to be left over if you only use it for toast or if you have a variety of jams. Here is a recipe for a simple sweet treat that you can consume all at once when you feel like it's time to eat up all the jam.
Ingredients (easy-to-make portions)
200g (7.05oz) pancake mix
150ml (5.07us fl oz) milk
Jam of your choice (strawberry jam is used in this article) 100g (3.53oz)
*Adjust all ingredients except jam to the quantities indicated on the pancake mix
Directions1. Put egg, milk and pancake mix in a bowl and mix well
2. Add jam and mix lightly to blend all together.
3. Put the mixture into the inner pot of the rice cooker, tap it lightly to release the air, and heat it in the "Cake Mode" or "Quick Cook Mode" of the rice cooker for 30-40 minutes (if it is not enough, heat it additionally).
4. remove from rice cooker, turn over and let cool on a net to finish
No sugar added, just the sweetness of the jam and the flavor of the fruit. The slightly soft, steamed bread-like texture and gentle sweetness makes it easy to eat as much as you like. The "hit" feeling of the strawberry fruit that pops up here and there is also enjoyable. If the sweetness is not enough, you can add whipped cream or 150g (5.29oz) of jam.
The fact that the pancakes can be left alone while cooking makes them less time-consuming than pancakes cooked in a frying pan, which is also a great advantage for busy people. The article uses a 3-cup IH rice cooker, so please check carefully as it may not be possible to cook depending on the model you are using.
