Paper book covers are usually applied casually at bookstores. Although they are the "face of the bookstore," we may not pay much attention to them because we are so engrossed in the book. However, if you open it up and take a closer look, you will find that there are many attractive designs.


e-hon, an online bookstore operated by Tohan, is currently holding the "2nd e-hon Member Bookstore Book Cover Contest" until February 20, 2011, where bookstores participating in e-hon's bookstore pickup service are invited to vote for the most popular book cover.
There are 38 bookstores from Hokkaido to Kyushu . As a bonus for participating in the voting, all voters of the bookstore selected as No. 1 will receive a "premium edition" of its cover, and the book covers of the top 10 bookstores in the contest will be given to 50 winners in a drawing. Voting is open to e-hon members only (registration is free).


Incidentally, in the first contest held last year, "Book Port 203 Midorizono" came in first, "Nagasaki Bookstore" second, and "Yaesu Book Center" third.
