The adult coloring book boom is getting more and more exciting this year. The feature is that detailed patterns are drawn for adults, and books with various motifs such as mosaics and Japanese patterns are published one after another in addition to natural objects.
As I introduced in my previous article, the trick to painting is to decide the image color to some extent. That said, if you're an amateur like me, you can only think of "red" and "blue" at best.
A useful tool there is " coolors ". It is a color generator tool that intuitively presents a color scheme (color plan) of 5 colors.
It can be viewed on a browser on a PC or smartphone, and the color scheme is displayed randomly each time the generator button is pressed. Since it is expressed in various HTML color codes, there are actually more than 500,000 patterns.
When you find a color you like, you can fix it and update it, or fine-tune the hue and saturation of each color. You can also enter the code directly, so you may decide in advance the color you want to use with your colored pencils or felt-tip pens and fix it.
Once you find a pattern you like, it's also convenient to save it as a PNG or PDF file.
It's a tool for web designers and creators in the first place, but it's also recommended for a change of pace as you may come across some surprising combinations. It can also be a reference for fashion and interiors. Although there is a charge, smartphone apps (iOS / Android) are also distributed.
