Seijo Ishii "Kikyou Shingen Mochi Ice Cream"
Well made

The famous confectionery that Yamanashi is proud of is "Kikyou Shingen Mochi" from Kikyouya. I'm from Yamanashi and my relatives work at Kikyouya. To be honest, I've eaten so much that I'm tired of eating it, so now I prefer "Kai no Yama" (if you have a chance to go to the store!).

"Kikyo Shingen Mochi Ice" wiped out such a rut. Many citizens of the prefecture may have been shocked by the epoch-making idea of enjoying the elements of mochi, kinako, and black honey with ice cream.

This is a premium version with plenty of mochi

From the Shingen mochi ice cream, a new "Matcha" flavor has arrived! It was a limited edition product sold only at Seijo Ishii and Kikyouya stores, so I immediately tried it.

Transformed into astringent matcha

"Kikyou Shingen Mochi Ice Cream Matcha" is an ice cream made from Uji Matcha and topped with soft rice cake sprinkled with soybean flour. There is plenty of black honey in the center.

There is mochi on it

Thick black honey

The astringency of the crisp matcha is brought out to the front of the ice cream, and the sweetness is almost unnoticeable. When black honey is entwined there, it sublimates into rich sweet ice cream. At Kikyouya, this black honey is really delicious, isn't it?

Furthermore, when the mochi that stretches out is added, it becomes a Japanese sweet with a very premium feeling. Since the flavor of matcha is strong, I don't really feel the remnants of Shingen mochi, but it is a fairly high level for matcha ice cream. Golden Week seems to repeat earnestly.

With the addition of soft mochi, it's enough to eat

The price is 320 yen per piece (excluding tax). For those who are tired of the hard work before the holidays and those who say that they are working during the holidays, how about a "reward ice cream"?
