Unless you really like cooking, it is a high hurdle to use multiple miso properly. But sometimes I found "miso powder" at KALDI Coffee Farm, which is convenient when I want to add a different flavor.
There are "white miso powder" and "red miso powder", both of which are "powdered miso" made from soybeans, rice, and salt (red miso also includes sake spirits). If you lick it as it is, it surely tastes like each miso.
White miso can be sprinkled on white fish to make saute, or melted in cheese to make cheese fondue. It was very delicious even if it was mixed with mayonnaise and grilled onigiri.
In addition to carpaccio and pasta, it is also recommended to sprinkle red miso on "vanilla ice cream". The sweetness like mitarashi dango is addictive.
Miso powder that is easier to handle than ordinary miso and makes Japanese food easier. The price is 163 yen (tax included) each.
