A new menu that is 50 yen more expensive than regular latte. I was wondering how it was different, so I drank and compared it.

What is Double Espresso Latte?

A latte that uses twice as much espresso as a regular latte. It is a combination that is popular overseas as "flat white". The coffee color is also dark in appearance.



The characteristic is the strength of coffee. The richness and bitterness firmly wrap the tongue.


You can feel the sweetness and richness of the milk, but the bitterness is on par with black. It has a deep taste that is similar to bitter chocolate.

While normal latte has a mild and sweet taste that softens the bitterness of coffee, double has a milky feel but the bitterness has not diminished. You can feel the difference clearly when you compare the drinks.


If you only drink the same latte all the time, you're not sure if you like the taste or not. Once you try something with a different balance, your taste will become clearer and it will be interesting. You can drink latte but not black yet, so it's recommended for people's practice!
