"Whole grain pasta" found in the pasta corner of a supermarket. Whole grain bread is becoming more familiar, but pasta is a little rare! I was curious, so I tried it.

I bought "Alce Nero Organic Whole Grain Spaghetti". Organic durum wheat is used with the hull, including bran and germ, and is rich in dietary fiber and minerals. It was 500g (17.64oz) and the price was about 300 yen excluding tax.


The color is darker than ordinary pasta. The thickness is 1.6 mm and the boiling time is 8 minutes.

The most characteristic is the texture. The chewy and comfortable texture feels like soba. This time I combined Genovese, but Japanese sauce seems to match!
