What does almond milk taste like? I drank the "thick almond milk" I found in KALDI

"Almond milk" has been seen more and more in recent years. Almond's nutrients such as vitamin E and iron can be taken and non-cholesterol is attractive, and it is an image that people with high beauty consciousness are drinking, but the general penetration is not good. What does it actually taste like? There should be many people who say.

The "thick almond milk" found in KALDI is simple with only almonds as the raw material (additives are not included). I was attracted to the affordability of 128 yen (tax included) in a mini pack containing 125 ml, so I decided to give it a try.

Thick almond milk

There are two types of lineup, "mellow plain" and "scented roast". All are sugar-free, low-carbohydrate, and cholesterol-free, and 12.5 almonds are used per bottle. Calories are around 80kcal.

No sugar or seasonings used

Nutrients etc.

The liquid color is off-white. It has a "bean-like" flavor similar to soy milk, but it has a gentler impression than soy milk.

The mouthfeel is mellow like fresh cream before whipping. The richness of almonds remains mellow over the aftertaste. No sugar, so no sweetness.

Roasted is easier to drink than plain. The fragrance stands out, and the finish makes it hard to feel the habit.

"Roasted fragrance" recommended for beginners

Almond milk that is lighter than milk and not as addictive as soy milk. It has a fragrant richness, so you can use it for sweets and cooking. First of all, why not try a mini pack to see if it suits you!
