You can make "pizza" with dumpling skin !? I found an unexpected recipe on the Ajinomoto site, so I tried it.
The ingredients are dumpling skin, mayonnaise, ketchup, wiener, pizza cheese, and vegetables. Considering the color of vegetables, I decided to use onions, peppers, and cherry tomatoes. The general procedure is introduced below.

1. Place the dumpling skins on the bottom of the frying pan.

2. After applying mayonnaise and ketchup, put small pieces of vegetables, wieners and cheese on top.

3. Cover and bake on low heat, and when the vegetables are cooked, turn on high heat to make the skin crispy.
When removing from the frying pan, it is convenient to use a spatula. Also, when cutting, it is recommended to transfer it to a flat plate and cut it by pressing the knife vertically. You can make beautiful slices without the ingredients slipping off.

By the way, what about the essential taste? The dough (gyoza skin) baked with oil has a very light taste. By that amount, you can enjoy the taste of cheese and vegetables on top straight. The texture is considerably harder than ordinary pizza dough, but chewing it over time will naturally increase your satisfaction.
A simple pizza recipe that keeps material costs low. Why don't you try it when the gyoza skin is left over?
