AND THE FRIET, a French fry specialty restaurant, has introduced a premium snack called "Dry Frites. It is currently on pre-sale at Shibuya Hikarie ShinQs until May 7.
The restaurant specializes in French fries (French fries) made with various kinds of potatoes and homemade dips. For more details, please check out the report on our sister site "En-Eating" if you are interested.

Dry frites are snacks made from the Belgian "Binche" variety, which has been the most popular since the establishment of the restaurant. They are available in three flavors: Premium Salt, Black Truffle, and Herb and Gorgonzola. Priced at 450 yen per bag (tax included, same below).

The texture of each is crunchy and hard, which is different from French fries. The more you bite into them, the more they return to the crunchy potato texture, filling your mouth with a rich flavor. Be sure to try the "Premium Salt" covered with French Lorraine rock salt and dip (150 yen per piece).

Next is the "Black Truffle," which tickles the nose with its gorgeous truffle aroma from the moment you open it. The "Black Truffle" is covered with Italian "Black Truffle Salt" and is a gourmet flavor.

The last one is "Herb and Gorgonzola". It is covered with five different herbs, including oregano, basil, and rosemary, and Gorgonzola cheese, and looks great served with cheese, olives, or other hors d'oeuvres.

All of these dishes are moderately salted to allow you to enjoy the flavor of the ingredients, and are great as an accompaniment to beer or wine. They can also be sold by weight, so they are sure to be a hit at home parties and barbecues!
The limited-time store is located at Shibuya Hikarie ShinQs Food Stage B2, 2-21-1 Shibuya, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, and is open from 10:00 to 21:00.
