Gateau chocolate "Polo chocolate" series popular in KALDI and Seijo Ishii. I found a high cacao version of this at Natural Lawson.

The product name is "Polo Chocolat Plumium Cacao 72". It is baked using chocolate with a cacao content of 72%.



The size is about the same as normal polo chocolate, but the slices are thinner.



The moment you eat it, it has a soft cake-like texture, but the melt in your mouth is as smooth as raw chocolate. A richer taste than you can imagine from the amount spreads.


The sweetness is not so great, and the scent of cacao and the bitterness are accentuated. The chocolate feeling is rich but not too sweet, and it is a perfect gateau chocolate for high cacao chocolate lovers.

The price is a little higher at 756 yen (tax included) for 8 pieces. Unlike regular products, it comes in a solid paper box and is individually wrapped, so it can be used as a souvenir or gift!
