SCHAU ESSEN has been selling the brand's first flavor product "SCHAU ESSEN Hot Chili" since February 2019. A spring-summer limited item commemorating the 35th anniversary of SCHAU ESSEN's release.


I bought a set of 2 bags of 106g (3.74oz) (standard 5 bottles). The price at the supermarket was 480 yen (excluding tax).


Hot chili that looks a little reddish compared to ordinary SCHAU ESSEN. It is eaten in the same way as regular SCHAU ESSEN, and can be boiled, baked in a frying pan, or cooked in the microwave.



SCHAU ESSEN's crispy and juicy texture, rich umami, and smoky flavor are retained, while the spiciness gradually increases. It is a full-fledged spiciness that leaves a tingling and numbness in the mouth even after swallowing. The deliciousness that seems to go well with beer and is perfect for summer!
