MUJI's "dried vegetables" that you want to stock during busy times--I'm glad that they are domestically produced and boiled.

Did you know that there are dried vegetables in MUJI?

"MUJI" supports busy home dining tables with delicious retort pouch foods and frozen foods. Did you know that "dried vegetables" are sold as a time-saving cooking item that is not surprisingly known?

A little rare dried vegetables

It is only available at some stores and online stores, but it is full of points that housewives are happy with, such as "domestic, additive-free, and boiled." Among the various variations, I tried three types this time.

■ Dried vegetables Mix of 5 kinds of domestic root vegetables 38g (1.34oz) 350 yen (tax included, same below)

Personal recommendation

A dried mix of boiled burdock root, carrots, lotus root, radish, and taro. Root vegetables, which are troublesome to prepare, are cut into a size that is easy to eat, and you can eat them just by rehydrating them with hot water. The radish after returning is crispy like Takuan, while the lotus root is crispy. The difference in each texture is fun.

It takes about 20 minutes to rehydrate with hot water

If you want to use it for soup or miso soup, you can put it in as it is. It is convenient to make pork soup and kenchin-jiru in an easy-to-eat amount in a short time!

Add to soup as it is (please adjust the water content as appropriate)

I'm glad that it doesn't boil down

■ Dried vegetables Domestic Chinese cabbage soup mix 30g (1.06oz) 290 yen

A dried mix of boiled Chinese cabbage, spinach and onions. I bought it with the hope that I could replenish the vegetables as much as possible when I finished the meal instantly.

With a sensation

This also has a chewy texture like pickles, and the sweetness of onions and Chinese cabbage is strongly felt. Feeling fuller than usual!

Donbei's meat udon that I bought properly was a perfect match

■ Dried vegetables Domestic spinach 20g (0.71oz) 250 yen

Spinach that tends to soar over the New Year

Spinach that can be widely used for miso soup, stew, pasta, etc. You can rehydrate it in hot water for about 5 minutes, or add it to a juicy dish as it is.

With a crispy texture, the spinach flavor and sweetness are just as strong! I felt more like spinach than eating it raw.

Chewy ants even after returning

All of them have a different texture from raw vegetables, giving the impression that the sweetness was brought out firmly. It's more expensive than raw vegetables, but why not just prepare something that's easy to use for the year-end and New Year holidays when you're busy with work and events?
