Children will be happy ♪ Cute "Tomica" cake mold --For making minimal madeleines and ice cream

How about a handmade snack at home with children? Introducing TOMICA's silicone cake molds developed by skaters.

What kind of product?

A cute car-shaped cake type with the letters "TOMICA" engraved on it. You can bake madeleine dough, chill and harden ice cakes, or use it as an ice tray. I made minimal madeleine and yogurt ice cream. The moment I took it out of the mold was throbbing, but I was able to remove it cleanly. The rounded shape of the car and the letters "TOMICA" that clearly appear on the car body. It is a small but outstanding finish.

What are the precautions?

Be careful of the amount as the capacity is small

In my case, I was able to make minimal madeleine and yogurt ice cream well, but when I made milk jelly, I couldn't remove it from the mold and it crumbled. Because the pattern is fine, soft jelly and bavarois have a high risk of collapsing. Also note that the capacity is small (approx. 48 ml x 4), and the cake dough tends to be too much and overflows during baking. It will be easier to adjust the amount if you have two.

summary

It takes some getting used to, but Tomica's cake mold makes you want to guts pose without thinking that you can clean it. How about using it to make a little elaborate baked goods and ice cakes? I think you can enjoy it just by filling it with commercially available ice cream.

The sales place is a mail order site, etc., and the price range is around 1,000 to 1,400 yen. Compatible with ovens, microwave ovens, refrigerators, freezers, and dishwashers. The product package describes how to make madeleines and orange madeleines using this mold.
