Black bean scone recipe

material

・ Butter 25g (0.88oz)
・ Hot cake mix 150g (5.29oz)
・ Milk 40ml (1.35us fl oz)
・ Sweet boiled black beans 50g (1.76oz)

Preparation

・ Return the butter to room temperature ・ Put the black beans on kitchen paper to drain the juice

How to make

1. 1. Knead the butter that has been returned to room temperature with a rubber spatula. If you don't have time to bring it back to room temperature, heat it in the microwave for about 10 seconds, being careful not to melt it.

2. Add the panque mix and mix gently.

3. 3. Add milk, mix, mix to some extent, and knead lightly by hand to combine.

Four. Add the black beans and mix them so that they are scattered all over. It doesn't matter if the beans are crushed a little.

Five. Put the dough on a cutting board and stretch it by hand to make a circle with a thickness of about 2 cm.

6. Divide into 6 using a kitchen knife or card.

7. 7. Place them in a frying pan with foil or parchment paper at intervals. Cover and bake on low heat for 8-10 minutes.

8. Turn it over, cover it, and bake for another 4 minutes.

9. Turn off the heat and leave it for about 5 minutes with the lid on.

The dark brown black soybean scones are crispy on the outside and fluffy and moist on the inside. The studded black beans have changed to a soft texture, which matches perfectly with the slightly sweet scone dough. It has a taste that is somewhat reminiscent of chocolate chunk scones, and if you eat it without knowing anything, you may not immediately notice "black beans"! Of course, it is recommended to add cream cheese or whipped cream as it is.
