Ingredients
: 2 slices yellowtail
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons cooking sake
1 tablespoon mirin
1 teaspoon sugar
Directions
1. Sprinkle salt (not included) on both sides of the yellowtail and pat dry after 10 minutes. 2.
Sprinkle salt on the yellowtail and cook for 10 minutes.
2. Combine soy sauce, sake, mirin and sugar in a small bowl.
3. Place the buri in a storage bag, add the seasoning mixture, and blend. Seal the bag while removing air from inside. 4.
Put the fish and seasonings in a storage bag and seal it.
Store in the freezer. Approximate shelf life is 3 weeks to 1 month. 5.
5. When ready to use, transfer to the refrigerator or defrost in the defrost mode of a microwave oven.
