How to make

1. Wash the skin of the potatoes thoroughly and cut them in half.


2. Arrange them in the frying pan (or pot) with the cut side facing up. Pour water to about half to 2/3 of the height of the potatoes.


3. Cover with a lid and heat over medium heat. Once it boils, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. Please adjust according to the size of the potatoes.


Four. Once a toothpick or bamboo skewer fits easily, peel the skin and it's done.


By heating the food at a medium temperature similar to steaming or boiling, the result is a soft and moist texture. It's perfect as a simple potato butter, or mixed with mayonnaise to make potato salad. Please check the condition inside the frying pan/pot from time to time to ensure that all the water does not evaporate during heating.

Even when hot, the skin can be easily peeled with tongs or chopsticks.
